There was a perceived gap in Staff Quality for Large or routine Projects which led to the formation of OESL by its current President manging Director in 2009. However, the company was formally registered as a limited liability Company on the 10th Day of June 2011 in accordance with the Company and Allied Matters Act of 1990.
In the first quarter of 2011, our project management division was awarded a Technical Support Service (TSS) contract by Wright Dixon Engineering (Nig) Ltd for the rehabilitation of a 12OMW turbo generator at the Sapele Power Station, Sapele, Nigeria.

We provided full site support service on this project. and since then we have entered into strategic alliances with leading power generation maintenance companies.

OESL has the capacity to accommodate. changes in its environment, strong lateral thinking and total commitment to our clients across board. We have played an active role in enhancing the skill set of electrical staff of the steam generating plants in Nigeria (Egbin and Sapele power station) through our PowGen short courses.

OESL by virtue of its relationship with ABB have provided skills development and service in the area of Controls, Instrumentations, Protection and excitation equipments for these multimillion dollar power generating facilities.
